A tree collapsed near the Wagle Estate Police Station in Thane on Tuesday morning, June 30, 2026, injuring a local resident and damaging 10 parked vehicles. The incident, which occurred at approximately 8:35 AM, drew an immediate response from municipal emergency services to the busy locality.
The injured pedestrian was identified as 55-year-old Prabhat Vibhuti Jha, a resident of the nearby Yashodhan Nagar area. The impact of the falling tree was severe enough to damage 10 parked vehicles in the area.
