Two 3.4-Magnitude Earthquakes Strike Jawhar Taluka in Palghar District

Two tremors of magnitude 3.4 struck Jawhar taluka in Maharashtra's Palghar district within an hour on Tuesday, officials reported. No casualties or property damage were reported following the seismic activity.
According to officials, the seismic activity was recorded at a depth of 5 km in Jawhar taluka. Both tremors occurred in quick succession within the span of 60 minutes in the district.
Reports from news agency PTI confirmed that despite the back-to-back tremors, there were no reports of injury, loss of life, or destruction of property across the affected region.
Authorities stated that they are continuing to monitor the situation closely across Palghar district following the events.
