Two injured after gallery collapses at Tiwari Bhavan in Thane Wagle Estate

Two citizens were injured after a portion of a first-floor gallery of an old building collapsed in Kisan Nagar No. 3, Wagle Estate, Thane West. The incident occurred late on Saturday night at Tiwari Bhavan, a structure located opposite Mamta Bazaar on Road No. 16.
According to officials from the Thane Municipal Corporation’s Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC), the collapse was officially reported at 10:56 PM on July 4, 2026. The incident involved the sudden collapse of a portion of the first-floor gallery of the old building, which led to the injuries of the two citizens.
The Regional Disaster Management Cell of the Thane Municipal Corporation responded to the incident at Tiwari Bhavan. The building, situated opposite Mamta Bazaar along Road No. 16 in the Kisan Nagar No. 3 area of Wagle Estate, Thane West, is an older structure.
The collapse of the first-floor gallery portion on July 4, 2026, resulted in injuries to two people. Officials from the Thane Municipal Corporation’s Regional Disaster Management Cell confirmed the details of the accident, which took place in the Wagle Estate area of Thane.
