Two Injured and Vehicles Damaged as Tree Uproots on Marol Military Road in Andheri

A tree was uprooted during heavy rains on Marol Military Road in Andheri on Tuesday afternoon, June 30, 2026, injuring two people and damaging multiple vehicles. The incident has prompted a demand for an immediate tree safety survey in the area.

According to preliminary information, the fallen tree trapped and damaged approximately three to four vehicles underneath it. Two individuals sustained injuries during the incident.

Following the collapse, Shiv Sena MLA Mulji Patel from Andheri East raised the issue in the Legislative Assembly. Patel called for the matter to be treated seriously and demanded that an immediate survey of trees be conducted across the area.

In the wake of the incident, officials are expected to assess the condition of roadside trees in Andheri in the coming days.
