Vikram Bhatt to Direct Haunted 3D Echoes Of The Past Starring Mimoh Chakraborty

Promotional materials and plot details for the upcoming Bollywood film 'Haunted 3D: Echoes Of The Past' were released, offering a preview of the horror movie ahead of its scheduled 2026 release. Directed by Vikram Bhatt, the film's storyline begins in Mumbai before moving to a mysterious hill station, following a devastated filmmaker portrayed by Mimoh Chakraborty.

In the film, Devadutt Choudhary, also known as Dev, is depicted as a reputed filmmaker whose latest project, 'Laila Majnu', is on the verge of its theatrical release. Dev is deeply in love with Sonali, the lead actress of his film, who is portrayed by Aradhna. However, just days before the scheduled release of 'Laila Majnu', Dev discovers Sonali with the male lead of the movie.

Devastated by the discovery, Dev decides to flee Mumbai suddenly without informing anyone of his departure. He is accompanied by his cousin, Titu, played by Gaurav Bajpai. The two characters travel continuously until they arrive at a peaceful hill station called Maniktal. Seeking solace from his personal turmoil, Dev decides to settle there and begins searching for a rental property.

A local broker introduces Dev to the Maniktal Palace by showing him photographs of the property. Attracted to the estate, Dev agrees to rent it. However, upon entering the palace, Dev and Titu immediately sense that something is wrong. They observe that while all the doors and windows of the left wing are wide open, those of the right wing are completely shut.

The palace caretaker, Trilok, played by Hemant Pandey, explains to the new tenants that the right wing has remained locked for decades and that the keys have been lost. Despite this explanation, Dev's first night in the palace is disrupted when he is awakened by a strange, eerie noise. Investigating the sound, he discovers that the doors to the forbidden right wing have been opened.

Dev enters the mysterious section of the palace, where he witnesses an evil spirit harming a girl named Sunheri, played by Chetna Pande. Dev is left confused by how the doors opened and how Sunheri is living in a section of the palace that has been closed for more than a century, eventually realizing she is from another era.
