Vikram Bhatt to Release Haunted 3D Echoes Of The Past in 2026

Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt's upcoming supernatural horror film, 'Haunted 3D: Echoes Of The Past,' is scheduled for release in 2026. The movie's storyline begins in Mumbai before transitioning to a remote, mysterious hill station.
The film stars Mimoh Chakraborty as Devadutt Choudhary, also known as Dev, a reputed Mumbai-based filmmaker whose latest movie, 'Laila Majnu,' is on the verge of release. Dev is deeply in love with the lead actress of his film, Sonali, played by Aradhna. However, days before the highly anticipated release, Dev's life is shattered when he catches Sonali with the film's male lead actor.
A devastated Dev decides to leave Mumbai immediately without informing anyone of his departure. He is accompanied by his cousin, Titu, portrayed by Gaurav Bajpai. The duo travels continuously until they arrive at a peaceful hill station called Maniktal, where Dev seeks solace from his personal turmoil.
While in Maniktal, Dev decides to find a place to rent. A local real estate broker shows him photographs of the historic Maniktal Palace. Attracted to the property, Dev decides to lease it and moves in with Titu.
Upon entering the palace, the cousins immediately notice that something is highly unusual. All the doors and windows of the building's right wing are tightly shut, whereas those in the left wing are completely open. The palace caretaker, Trilok, played by Hemant Pandey, explains that the right wing has been locked for decades and that the keys to that section have long been missing.
The mystery deepens during their very first night at the palace. Dev is awakened by an eerie noise and leaves his room to investigate. He discovers that the locked doors of the right wing are now wide open.
Stepping inside the forbidden section, Dev encounters an evil spirit and a girl named Sunheri, played by Chetna Pande. He witnesses the malevolent spirit harming Sunheri and is left confused as to how she is living in a wing that has been sealed for over a century. Dev soon realizes that Sunheri belongs to a completely different era.
The film, which blends romance, heartbreak, and supernatural elements, is set to hit theatres in 2026.
