Virag Madhumalati Launches Devotional Book in Sanpada, Secures 9th World Record

Singer and author Virag Madhumalati launched his devotional book 'Bhakti Ka Mahasagar' at the Shikhara Hotel in Sanpada, Navi Mumbai, today, securing his ninth world record for writing 1,107 original devotional songs in a single year. The book, which features songs dedicated to Lord Bhairav, was officially unveiled in a ceremony attended by several prominent figures.

The official unveiling was performed by Padma Shri Anup Jalota, India’s celebrated Bhajan Samrat, alongside Shri Meghraj Raje Bhosle, the President of the Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Chitrapat Mahamandal. The publication of the 1,107 songs earned Madhumalati official recognition from the World Records Book of India for writing the maximum number of original devotional songs in one year.

Several local dignitaries attended the launch event in Sanpada. Among the guests were Mrs. Vandana Wankhade, Shri Motilal Jain, Shri Nilesh Somani, and Shri Arjun Singhvi, the former Chairman of Navi Mumbai Education. Shri Ashok Mehra of the Shikhara Group was also present to congratulate the author.

Speaking at the launch, Padma Shri Anup Jalota commended the author's achievement. He stated that by composing 1,107 devotional songs dedicated to Lord Bhairav, Virag Madhumalati had made an extraordinary contribution to devotion, faith, and literature, adding that the book would serve as an inspiration for devotees across the country.

Shri Meghraj Raje Bhosle also praised the achievement, remarking that Madhumalati’s world record is a matter of immense pride for the entire nation, setting an inspiring example for society through art, devotion, and literature.

Shri Ashok Mehra expressed the Shikhara Group's ongoing support for meaningful social and cultural initiatives while congratulating Madhumalati on his milestone.

Expressing his gratitude, Virag Madhumalati stated that the book was not merely a publication but an offering of devotion at the feet of Lord Bhairav. He added that the honour belongs to every devotee whose faith inspired his spiritual journey.
