Viral Video Shows Mumbai Auto Driver Handling Purported Police E-Challan Device

A video purportedly showing an auto-rickshaw driver handling a device resembling an electronic challan machine used by the Mumbai Traffic Police has surfaced online, raising questions over the security of official traffic enforcement equipment in the city.

According to claims circulating with the footage, the handheld unit allegedly belongs to a traffic police official attached to the Kurla Traffic Division. However, the authenticity of these claims and the specific circumstances under which the video was recorded have not been independently verified.

In the 22-second clip, the auto-rickshaw driver is seen walking while carrying a device that closely resembles the official handheld units used by traffic personnel to issue digital fines.
