Virar Station Upgrades Progress Under Virar-Dahanu Quadrupling Project

Redevelopment work at Virar station has reached significant milestones under the Virar-Dahanu Road Quadrupling Project, railway officials stated. Key infrastructure works, including a new elevated deck, new platforms, and updated station facilities, are taking shape as part of the project in the Mumbai region.

According to officials, several major railway structures and station facilities have already been completed at the site. Construction on additional new facilities is continuing to move forward as part of the broader upgrade plan.

The redevelopment initiative aims to improve passenger facilities and amenities at the station. In addition to enhancing passenger experience, the project is designed to increase operational capacity and strengthen the overall suburban rail network across the Mumbai region.
