Wadettiwar Claims 92.10 Lakh Women Removed From Ladki Bahin Yojana

Senior Maharashtra Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar on Wednesday alleged that the BJP-led Mahayuti government in Maharashtra has removed 92.10 lakh beneficiaries from the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana following an e-KYC and verification process.

The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader claimed that the administration used women for electoral gains and subsequently deprived poor women of financial assistance once in power.

Wadettiwar stated that the verification exercise had led to the large-scale exclusion of beneficiaries from the flagship welfare scheme, which provides financial aid to women across the state.
