Western Railway Announces Four-Hour Jumbo Block Between Borivali and Andheri on Sunday

Western Railway has announced a four-hour jumbo block on Sunday between Borivali and Ram Mandir stations, leading to route diversions for suburban trains running through Andheri. The maintenance window is scheduled to run from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM IST.
According to Western Railway, the daytime block is being implemented to carry out essential maintenance work on railway tracks, signalling systems, and overhead equipment. The maintenance operations will affect services along the UP Fast and 5th rail lines during the four-hour duration.
Commuters will experience multiple service diversions along the affected corridor. All UP Fast line trains will be rerouted onto the UP Slow or 6th line between Borivali and Andheri stations during the maintenance period.
Simultaneously, all Mumbai local train services operating on the 5th line will be shifted to the DOWN Fast line between Andheri and Borivali until the block concludes at 2:00 PM.
Western Railway stated that comprehensive details regarding the affected suburban train services will be displayed at stations across the suburban network. Passengers and daily commuters have been advised to verify train schedules and plan their travel accordingly before starting their journeys.
