Western Railway Announces Night Jumbo Block Between Vasai Road and Bhayandar

Western Railway has announced that it will undertake a jumbo block between Vasai Road and Bhayandar stations during the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday, August 29-30, 2026.

The maintenance block is being conducted to carry out essential work on railway tracks, signalling systems, and overhead electrical equipment along the suburban corridor.

According to Western Railway, the block will be operated on the Up Fast line between 11:30 pm and 3:00 am. On the Down Fast line, the maintenance activity will be enforced from 1:15 am to 4:45 am during the night.

Railway authorities confirmed that suburban train services will remain unaffected during daytime hours on Sunday, August 30, as no daytime block has been scheduled on the section.
