Wockhardt Hospitals Launches New Superspeciality OPD at Kemps Corner
Wockhardt Hospitals, Mumbai Central, has launched a new Superspeciality Outpatient Department (OPD) at Kwality House in Kemps Corner, expanding access to specialised medical consultations for residents across South Mumbai.
The facility aims to improve access to timely specialist care for individuals dealing with complex and chronic health conditions by bringing multiple superspeciality services together under one roof. Patients visiting the centre can access specialist consultations, clinical evaluations, diagnostic support, and referrals for further treatment whenever required.
The new OPD will offer consultations across several disciplines, including cardiology, neurology, neurosurgery, oncology, gastroenterology, nephrology, urology, and orthopaedics. The initiative is expected to streamline the overall patient journey by facilitating early clinical evaluation, specialist opinions, and treatment planning, while also connecting patients to the hospital's wider clinical and diagnostic infrastructure.
Dr Virendra Chauhan, Centre Head at Wockhardt Hospitals, Mumbai Central, highlighted the significance of early medical intervention for patients with complex or chronic conditions. He noted that early evaluation and timely access to specialists can make a major difference to a patient's care journey, explaining that assembling multidisciplinary expertise allows for a more coordinated approach to diagnosis, clinical decision-making, and treatment planning.

The facility at Kwality House is designed to benefit residents in South Mumbai and surrounding localities by offering specialist consultations without the immediate need to visit the main hospital. Patients requiring advanced medical interventions or specialised procedures can subsequently be referred directly to Wockhardt Hospitals, Mumbai Central, to utilise its full treatment infrastructure.
