Woman and Lover Arrested in Mira Road for Obscene Photos of Minor Daughters

The Naya Nagar police have arrested a 42-year-old woman and her 46-year-old lover in Mira Road after she allegedly took objectionable photographs of her two minor daughters and sent them to him, prompting an investigation into a suspected child abuse racket.

The arrests were made following a complaint lodged by the woman's 22-year-old son. Police officials are currently probing whether the duo was operating as part of a wider child pornography network.

According to the police, the woman is separated from her husband and resides in Mira Road with her three children, including her 22-year-old son and two daughters aged 13 and 10. She was allegedly in a relationship with the 46-year-old man, who is a resident of Naya Nagar.

Based on the complaint, the incident took place in March when the woman allegedly photographed her two daughters in an objectionable manner while they were asleep. She then transmitted the images to her lover.

When the son learned about the photographs and confronted his mother, the paramour allegedly threatened to implicate him in a false case and warned him against reporting or disclosing the matter.

Investigators noted that the lover also allegedly sent obscene photographs of other minor girls. Following the formal complaint by the son, the Naya Nagar police registered a case and placed both the woman and her partner under arrest.
