Woman Killed, Another Injured After Biker Hits Pedestrians on Mumbai-Goa Highway

An accident on the Mumbai-Goa highway in Navi Mumbai on Sunday afternoon resulted in the death of one woman and left another seriously injured.

The incident occurred on the Mumbai-bound carriageway of the highway. Two women were attempting to cross the road when a motorcycle rider collided with them.

One of the women died on the spot due to the impact of the collision. The other woman sustained grievous injuries from the crash and is currently undergoing medical treatment in a hospital.

Following the accident, the police detained the accused biker. Law enforcement authorities have filed a case regarding the incident.
