Women Commuters Stop Man From Jumping Out of Mumbai Local Ladies' Coach

A man who mistakenly boarded the ladies' compartment of a moving Mumbai local train attempted to jump out after realising his error, but was restrained and protected by fellow female commuters.

According to video footage circulating online, the commuter appeared terrified once women inside pointed out that he had entered the wrong compartment. Fearing consequences or reacting in panic, the man reportedly moved to jump off the running train.

Seeing him attempt to leap from the moving carriage, women passengers immediately intervened and pulled him back inside to prevent him from sustaining severe injuries.

Visuals from the coach captured the visibly scared man standing with folded hands and repeatedly tendering apologies to the passengers. Commuters kept him safe inside the compartment until the local train arrived at the subsequent railway station, where he safely disembarked.

The incident drew widespread attention among daily railway commuters, with many observing that rush-hour conditions and hurried boarding often lead to passengers entering incorrect coaches on the suburban network.
