Women in Kalyan-Dombivli Celebrate Raksha Bandhan with BJP MLA Ravindra Chavan

Thousands of women and students across Kalyan-Dombivli gathered to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with BJP Maharashtra state president and MLA Ravindra Chavan, tying rakhis on his wrist at events held across Dombivli and Kalyan.
The celebrations took place at multiple locations throughout the day. A morning programme was organised at Swatantryaveer Savarkar, followed by an afternoon gathering at Chavan's public relations office at Samrat Chowk, where local residents and youth met with the legislator.
Participants included school and college students, alongside young women undergoing pre-recruitment training for the armed forces and police at the Dombivlikar New Force Academy.
Speaking at the event, Chavan said the affection and support from the participants reflected the true spirit of the festival. He noted that many of the young attendees have ambitious goals and stated his commitment to supporting them in pursuing their aspirations, gaining self-reliance, and facing life with confidence.
The gatherings saw wide participation from women across the Kalyan-Dombivli constituency, who joined the celebrations and extended their festive greetings.
