Worker Injured in Blast at Steel Plant in Palghar's Boisar

A worker was injured following a blast at a steel manufacturing plant located in an industrial area in Boisar, Palghar district, on Monday morning.

The incident took place at around 10:45 am at the steel melting unit of Viraj Profiles Pvt Ltd. The explosion occurred at an induction furnace within the facility.

District Disaster Management Cell chief Vivekanand Kadam confirmed the incident, stating that the blast left one worker injured at the site.

Emergency response protocols were initiated following the explosion, and authorities were alerted to assess the situation at the industrial unit.
