Worli Police Camp Welcomes 'Mumbai Polisancha Raja' for 77th Ganesh Festival

The grand arrival procession, or Aagman Sohala, of ‘Mumbai Polisancha Raja’ was held with great enthusiasm today as the Ganpati idol of the Worli Police Camp Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal travelled from Gansankul in Currey Road to the Worli Police Camp.

The procession was organised across the Worli Police Camp and Lower Parel areas, marking the official beginning of the mandal’s Ganeshotsav celebrations. This year marks the 77th year of the Ganesh festival organised by the Worli Police Camp Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal.

Police personnel dressed in their khaki uniforms, along with traffic police officers, participated enthusiastically in the celebrations. They welcomed the idol of Lord Ganesha amidst the rhythmic beats of traditional dhol-tasha ensembles, devotional chants, and festive fervour.

The arrival procession brought together police personnel and local devotees in an atmosphere of devotion as they escorted ‘Mumbai Polisancha Raja’ along the route ahead of the annual Ganesh festival.
