Cityflo launches pay-per-seat corporate bus pass program in Bandra Kurla Complex

On July 2, 2026, the private staff transport network Cityflo launched a new pay-per-seat Corporate Pass Programme specifically for companies and employees operating in the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) of Mumbai.
The newly introduced scheme allows businesses in the BKC area to issue Cityflo bus passes to their workforce. Under the program's structure, companies will be billed exclusively for the rides that are actually taken by their employees. This eliminates the traditional requirement for businesses to book a dedicated fleet of vehicles or to commit to any minimum usage levels.
The new corporate pass system is designed to provide a flexible and cost-effective alternative for companies navigating employee transit in the busy Bandra Kurla Complex. By allowing employees to travel on a pay-per-seat basis, the program offers a direct solution to the high costs and logistical challenges often associated with managing dedicated corporate fleets.
According to Cityflo, which operates as India’s largest private staff transport network, the implementation of this corporate pass system could help participating companies reduce their employee transport costs by up to 30 per cent.
The initiative is closely aligned with the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority’s (MMRDA) ongoing Friday Public Transport Day campaign. This campaign by the MMRDA is designed to encourage daily commuters in Mumbai to shift away from using private vehicles and instead opt for shared mobility options.
By offering this pay-per-seat option, the program aims to make shared transit a more appealing choice for commuters who would otherwise rely on private vehicles to travel to the business hub.
The announcement of the pay-per-ride corporate pass initiative was made in an official statement released on Thursday, July 2, 2026. The program is positioned to support local efforts in Bandra Kurla Complex to transition commuters toward shared transport alternatives, thereby addressing traffic and commuting challenges in the district.
