Daisy Shah Slams Election Campaigners After Fire Breaks Out Near Her Mumbai Flat

A fire broke out at night in a house in the Bandra East area of Mumbai, prompting actor Daisy Shah to publicly criticize election campaigners for a lack of civic sense and safety responsibility. The incident occurred near Shah's residence, where she was walking her dogs when the fire started.

Following the incident, Shah took to social media to express her outrage. She shared a video of the active fire scene on her Instagram account, using the platform to condemn the campaigners for their reckless behavior and to highlight the public safety risks associated with the campaign activities.

In her post, Shah clarified her political neutrality while demanding better standards from campaign organizers. She wrote that she has nothing to do with any political party, but urged those who hire teams to run election campaigns to ensure that their workers possess common sense.

Shah also revealed that her residential building's committee had previously taken steps to protect the property. The committee had refused to grant the campaigners entry to go door-to-door, a decision that Shah praised and considered fully justified in light of the subsequent fire.

The actor specifically targeted the use of fireworks in residential zones during the election events. She emphasized that bursting crackers next to buildings is highly dangerous and is not the correct way to conduct a political campaign. She characterized the incident as an avoidable event caused entirely by careless individuals.

"This is what happens when people lack civic sense. It ain’t a natural calamity it’s caused by brainless people. TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY … ITS HIGH TIME," Shah stated in her post. She concluded by calling the situation a dangerous example of careless behavior that put lives at risk.
