Deputy CM Eknath Shinde Hoists National Flag in Thane on 80th Independence Day

Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde hoisted the National Flag at the District Collector’s Office in Thane on the occasion of the 80th Independence Day.

The ceremony in Thane was attended by government officials, administrative employees, and citizens. During the programme, Shinde extended his Independence Day greetings to the attendees and the public.

The Thane event was part of widespread Independence Day celebrations conducted across Maharashtra, with key state leaders heading programmes in different districts.

In Mumbai, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis led the state's main Independence Day ceremony at Mantralaya. Fadnavis unfurled the Tricolour, paid tribute to the National Flag, and delivered an address to the people of Maharashtra in the presence of senior government officials and employees.

In Beed, Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar hoisted the Tricolour during the official district-level programme. The event was attended by district administration officials, employees, and local dignitaries, where Pawar also extended her greetings.

Independence Day programmes were held across various districts in the state, drawing participation from public representatives, government personnel, and citizens.
