Dharmendra Pradhan Releases Urdu Book of PM Modi Independence Day Speeches

Union Minister for Education Dharmendra Pradhan has released a new Urdu book compiling Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Independence Day speeches in Delhi. The publication, titled "Khutbat-e-Modi: Lal Qila Ki Faseel Se," contains the Prime Minister's addresses delivered from the ramparts of the historic Red Fort between the years 2014 and 2025.
The book was published by the National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL), New Delhi, an institution operating under the Ministry of Education. The council is mandated to promote, preserve, and propagate the Urdu language across India. The new compilation aims to bring the Prime Minister's thoughts on various national issues directly to Urdu-knowing masses.
During the release event, Pradhan described the publication of "Khutbat-e-Modi" as a meaningful step toward linguistic inclusion. He emphasized that the book serves as a powerful medium to connect citizens with the Prime Minister's ideas, developmental priorities, and national vision, which in turn enables wider public engagement and informed discourse.
Pradhan highlighted that the compiled speeches focus on key national initiatives. These include Antyodaya, which represents uplifting the last person in society, the welfare of the poor, the Swachh Bharat campaign, national unity, and the collective aspirations of 140 crore Indians reflecting the vision of a New India.
The Education Minister expressed his hope that the book would find a place in libraries across the country. He noted that its availability would encourage students, scholars, and general readers to engage in a broader dialogue regarding the vision of Viksit Bharat.
Furthermore, Pradhan stated that the NCPUL should proactively take on the responsibility of publishing works related to India's heritage, culture, lifestyle, and knowledge traditions in the Urdu language. He congratulated the council on the initiative and shared information about the book's release on the social media platform X.
NCPUL Director Dr. Shams Iqbal stated that the council has made the Prime Minister's historic lectures available to Urdu-reading audiences, noting that the initiative will go a long way in disseminating the messages within the speeches.
