Dronagiri Railway Overbridge Lane Closed Until October 31 for Repairs

One lane on the Dronagiri Railway Overbridge in the Dronagiri node of Navi Mumbai will remain closed to vehicular traffic until October 31, 2026, to facilitate urgent structural repair work, according to the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO).

The repair operations are focused on the reinforced earth (RE) wall and the approach slab section of the bridge. The affected stretch is located near the MSEB Colony and the Gas Turbine Power Station (GTPS) in Dronagiri.

The lane closure has been officially reviewed and approved by the Navi Mumbai Traffic Police to enable maintenance crews to carry out the structural work safely.

During the closure period, CIDCO has advised motorists travelling through the area to use the alternative lane on the overbridge to avoid traffic disruptions.
