Dumper Hits Mrinaltai Gore Flyover Barrier in Oshiwara, Debris Falls onto SV Road

A major mishap was averted in Oshiwara on Friday afternoon after a speeding dumper lost control on the Mrinaltai Gore flyover and crashed into its wall and vision barrier, causing a portion of the structure to collapse onto SV Road below.

The incident took place on a sharp curve along the extension arm of the flyover heading towards the Relief Road. The impact of the collision damaged the barrier, sending debris falling directly onto the busy road underneath.

A local motorist from Lokhandwala, who was commuting on the westbound stretch of the flyover towards Relief Road, reported that the crash occurred between 1:30 pm and 2:00 pm.

No casualties were immediately reported following the crash, though the falling debris raised serious safety concerns for vehicular traffic and pedestrians moving along SV Road beneath the flyover arm.
