Four Diwale Koliwada Children Scale Gujarat's Girnar Mountain in Four Hours

Four young children from Diwale Koliwada completed the demanding ascent of Gujarat's famous Girnar mountain, scaling more than 10,000 steps in just four hours during a recent adventure and spiritual trip.
The group comprised Ayush Koli, aged 11; Shri Koli, aged 10; Griva Bose, aged 9; and Divisha Vishal Koli, aged 7. The children climbed the 3,666-foot-high mountain while chanting “Avadhoot Chintan Shri Gurudev Datt,” persevering through steep terrain and physical exhaustion to finish the climb.
The Girnar route is known for its rigorous physical demands, passing through hilly landscapes and stretches of dense forest that require trekkers to maintain caution. The young participants earned praise for their endurance and determination during the ascent.
The trek was organised as part of a five-day religious and adventure trip by the Ekvira Mitra Mandal of Diwale Koliwada. The organisation planned the tour to help young children build physical fitness, self-confidence, determination, and the capacity to face challenges.
Along with the ascent at Girnar in Junagadh, the five-day itinerary included visits to several other religious destinations across Gujarat. The children visited Bet Dwarka, Dwarka, Someshwar, Gangeshwar, and Nageshwar, combining outdoor adventure with spiritual and nature-based experiences.
