Kriti Sanon Pens Heartfelt Note as Cocktail 2 Releases in Theatres
On Friday, June 19, 2026, Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon shared a heartfelt message in Mumbai to mark the release day of her new Hindi film, 'Cocktail 2'. In her social media post, Sanon described her character, Ally, as the most colourful and radiant role she has ever portrayed on screen.
The actress took to Instagram to share a series of behind-the-scenes pictures from the film's sets. Alongside the images, she penned a long note expressing her gratitude to her co-stars, directors, and the production crew.
In her message, Sanon expressed her excitement for the film's launch, writing, "Fin-Ally its Cocktail2 Day. Ally, Kunal and Diya are yours.. I hope you love them, feel their hearts and cherish them as much as we have."
Sanon specifically thanked her co-stars Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, stating that she was already missing them and thanking them for making the journey beautiful and giving her lifelong memories.
She also directed her gratitude towards filmmaker "Dinoo" for constantly pushing and challenging her. She noted that he had given her some of her most special on-screen characters, including Mimi, Anika, Sifra, and now Ally. Sanon thanked him for believing in her more than she believed in herself.
Furthermore, Sanon thanked "Homster" for trusting her with the role of Ally and giving her "wings to fly" beyond what she thought she could achieve. She added that the character would always remain close to her heart.
The actress recalled her initial reaction to the project, noting that she fell in love with the film instantly when Luv Ranjan narrated the story. She praised Ranjan for creating a perfect blend of humour, story, and emotions that is both modern and rooted.
Sanon concluded her post by acknowledging the technical and creative team. She praised cinematographer Santha for capturing every frame, and thanked her personal styling and makeup team, which included Anaita Shroff Adajania, Sukriti Grover, Aasif Ahmed, and Adrian Jacobs. She also extended her thanks to Abhishek Kapur, P Vijan, Sharada Karki, Vineeta, and the entire direction and production crew for delivering the film against all odds.
