Mimoh Chakraborty to Star in Vikram Bhatt's Haunted 3D Echoes Of The Past

MUMBAI — Details have been revealed for filmmaker Vikram Bhatt's upcoming horror film 'Haunted 3D: Echoes Of The Past', which is scheduled for release in 2026. The film features Mimoh Chakraborty as a Mumbai filmmaker who flees the city following a personal betrayal, only to encounter supernatural entities in a remote palace.
The film's plot centers on Devadutt Choudhary, also known as Dev, played by Chakraborty. Dev is a reputed filmmaker whose latest movie, 'Laila Majnu', is preparing for its theatrical release. Dev is deeply in love with the film’s lead actress, Sonali, portrayed by Aradhna. However, just days before the scheduled release of 'Laila Majnu', Dev discovers Sonali with the film's male lead actor.
Devastated by the encounter, Dev abruptly leaves Mumbai without informing anyone of his departure. He is accompanied by his cousin, Titu, played by Gaurav Bajpai. The two travel continuously until they arrive at a quiet hill station named Maniktal.
Finding peace and solace in the hill station, Dev decides to look for a local residence to rent. A local broker shows him photographs of the Maniktal Palace. Attracted to the property, Dev agrees to become a tenant and moves in with Titu.
Upon entering the palace, the cousins immediately sense that something is wrong. All the doors and windows in the right wing of the building are locked shut, while those in the left wing remain wide open. The palace caretaker, Trilok, played by Hemant Pandey, informs them that the right wing has been closed off for decades and that the keys to that section of the palace have been lost.
During their first night, Dev is awakened by an eerie noise. He leaves his room and finds that the doors to the locked right wing have opened. Inside, Dev encounters an evil spirit alongside a woman named Sunheri, played by Chetna Pande. Dev witnesses the spirit harming Sunheri and becomes confused as to how she is living in a section of the palace that has been closed for more than a century. Dev eventually realizes that Sunheri belongs to a completely different era.
