Municipal Garbage Truck Gets Stuck in Drain Cover in Achole, Nalasopara

A municipal garbage collection truck got stuck in a drain cover on the main road in Achole, Nalasopara, on Tuesday morning.

The incident took place at around 9 a.m. while the vehicle was transporting waste. One of the truck's wheels suddenly fell into and became trapped in the drain opening, bringing the vehicle to a halt.

No injuries or casualties were reported as a result of the incident.

Shortly after the vehicle became stuck, the municipal Solid Waste Management Department arrived at the location. Officials brought in a crane to pull the garbage truck out of the drain.

The incident has highlighted ongoing concerns regarding the safety and maintenance of drain covers located on roads across the area.
