Palghar Ashram School Superintendent Suspended After Class 1 Student Dies in Masvan

The administration in Maharashtra's Palghar district has suspended the superintendent of a government-aided ashram school in Masvan following the death of a Class 1 student.

The deceased child has been identified as Shreyansh Shailesh Ambat, who died on Monday at the school facility.

Following the student's death, administrative officials visited the Masvan institution the next day to inspect the premises, assess the situation, and review the overall arrangements.

Taking action over alleged negligence, authorities placed the school superintendent under suspension and issued show-cause notices to other relevant officials.

A special inquiry committee has been constituted by the administration to investigate the incident and establish the circumstances surrounding the child's death.

As part of the procedural investigation, officials also seized food samples from the school for laboratory examination.
