Three Injured as Car Collides with Tempo Carrying Ganesh Idols at Bharane Naka in Ratnagiri

Three people were injured after a WagonR car rammed into a tempo carrying Ganesh idols near Warkari Math at Bharane Naka in Maharashtra's Ratnagiri district. The collision took place at around 12:30 am, causing severe damage to the car and resulting in the destruction of several idols inside the tempo.
The injured individuals travelling in the WagonR have been identified as Rohan Balkrishna Balsaraf, Sonal Chavan, and Komal Shirke. The group was travelling from Badlapur towards Ganpatipule when the accident occurred.
According to available details, the tempo was transporting Ganesh idols from Pen towards Sakhargaon. The impact of the collision completely wrecked the front portion of the WagonR. While the tempo did not sustain major structural damage, several Ganesh idols being carried in the vehicle were damaged in the crash.
Following the incident, all three occupants of the car were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. One of the two women sustained serious injuries during the crash.
Personnel from the Khed Police reached the spot after being alerted about the accident and initiated an investigation. Police officials stated that the exact cause of the collision is yet to be established and further inquiries are currently underway.
