Pandharpur Plan to Be Finalised Only After Consulting Stakeholders, Says CM Fadnavis

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced on Thursday that the comprehensive development plan for Pandharpur will be finalised only after taking all stakeholders into confidence.
Speaking at a review meeting regarding the pilgrimage town's development plan at Sahyadri Guest House in Mumbai, the Chief Minister said that the suggestions and demands of warkaris, devotees, local residents, traders, mathadhipatis, and people's representatives would be actively incorporated into the final blueprint.
Fadnavis stated that the development of Pandharpur is being prepared with a 50-year vision. The strategic plan focuses on creating modern amenities and facilities for pilgrims while also boosting the local economy.
With the volume of devotees visiting Pandharpur increasing with every passing year, the Chief Minister emphasised that integrated and long-term planning for the entire city is necessary to manage future footfall and ensure sustainable growth.
