Sanjay Raut Claims Rebel Shiv Sena UBT MPs Paid Rs 10 Crore, Shifted to Rajasthan

MUMBAI — Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut claimed on Thursday that dissident Lok Sabha members of Parliament from his party were paid Rs 10 crore each and moved to a safe location in Rajasthan.
Raut, who is a Rajya Sabha MP, made these allegations during a press conference held in Mumbai. He characterized the recent political developments as 'Operation Tudwa', comparing it to 'Operation Tiger'.
The allegations came after a party meeting where only three of the Shiv Sena (UBT)’s nine Lok Sabha MPs were present. The low attendance has fueled speculation of an imminent split within the Uddhav Thackeray-led political organization.
According to Raut, the rebel MPs were given an additional Rs 10 crore each before being relocated to the safe location in Rajasthan. This claim follows an earlier allegation by Raut, in which he asserted that the party's MPs were being offered Rs 50 crore each to switch their political allegiances.
During the press conference on Thursday, Raut used expletives while speaking to reporters about the dissident MPs and the alleged financial transactions.
The ongoing situation has raised questions about the stability of the Uddhav Thackeray-led group, as the party faces potential defections among its parliamentary members.
