Stray White Dog Bites Nearly 130 People in Kalyan's Adharwadi

A white stray dog bit nearly 130 people within a span of seven hours in Adharwadi, Kalyan, on Sunday evening. The sudden spree of attacks sent shockwaves through the region and triggered widespread fear among local residents before the animal was eventually captured.

According to hospital authorities, the white dog turned aggressive and targeted people who were passing through the area near Sandeep Hotel in Adharwadi.

Following the attacks, victims were taken to Rukmani Bai Hospital for medical treatment. Hospital doctor Dr. Sandeep Pagare confirmed that all the patients told authorities they had been bitten by a white dog. Hospital authorities stated that the victims were administered anti-rabies injections.

In response to the incident, the Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) launched an intensive search operation to track down the animal. Personnel from both the Khadakpada police station and the MHB police station joined the operation, alongside local corporators and their workers.

After hours of searching across the area, the stray dog was finally caught at 1:30 a.m. Although the animal has been captured, the incident has sparked widespread concerns among local residents regarding safety on the streets.
