17-Year-Old Class 11 Student Dies by Suicide in Jalgaon on Raksha Bandhan

A 17-year-old Class 11 student allegedly died by suicide in the Juna Asoda Road area of Jalgaon on Friday, the day of Raksha Bandhan. The teenager reportedly shared emotional messages addressed to his sister and parents on social media before his death.

The deceased has been identified as Rohit Sahebrao Dhangar, an Arts student residing in the Juna Asoda Road area. The unexpected death of the teenager on a festive day has left his family and relatives in profound shock.

Following the incident, the Shani Peth Police Station registered a case of accidental death. Police personnel have initiated an inquiry to establish the circumstances and underlying sequence of events leading up to the tragedy.

As part of the ongoing probe, investigating officers are closely examining Rohit’s social media activity, digital messages, and other available materials. Police stated that these records are being scrutinised to determine what may have prompted the student to take the extreme step.
