Activist Deepak Rannaware to Begin Indefinite Hunger Strike in Jalna on August 29

Activist Deepak Rannaware has announced that he will launch an indefinite hunger strike at Mahatma Gandhi Chaman in Jalna city from August 29, demanding government action on several issues concerning the Brahmin community.
Rannaware stated that he will continue the fast to press the state government to address the longstanding demands and concerns raised by the community.
According to Rannaware, he had previously staged two separate agitations seeking the formal establishment and strengthening of the Mahamandal.
He alleged that even after the Mahamandal was established, the government appointed only a small number of employees to staff it. Rannaware called for greater government support and resources to ensure the body functions effectively.
