Advocate Nitin Satpute Offers Free Legal Aid to Dadar Shivaji Park Protesters

Mumbai advocate Nitin Satpute has offered free legal representation to student protesters allegedly implicated in false criminal cases following demonstrations at the iconic Shivaji Park maidan in Dadar West.

The Shivaji Park protests were part of wider demonstrations over exam paper leaks, which were triggered by the NEET paper leak and sparked by similar agitations at Delhi's Jantar Mantar.

Satpute announced his support through a banner displayed just outside the Shivaji Park maidan. The poster stated that he volunteered to represent the implicated student protesters free of charge, adding that social worker Naveen Lade had taken responsibility for overseeing the case.

The banner, which had been displayed against the Shivaji Park skyline, has since been removed.
