BEST Bus Crashes Into 14 Vehicles in Andheri West After Alleged Brake Failure

A major road accident took place in Andheri West on Friday after a BEST bus allegedly lost control and crashed into multiple vehicles. The incident, which occurred in the busy Mumbai locality, left at least two to three people injured and caused significant damage to numerous vehicles in the area.
According to preliminary information, around 14 vehicles were involved in the massive chain collision. This total included approximately 12 to 13 autorickshaws that were hit during the crash. The impact of the collision caused severe and extensive damage to several of the vehicles involved.
Following the accident, those who sustained injuries were immediately rushed to Cooper Hospital to receive medical treatment. The exact medical condition of the injured victims was not immediately known following their admission to the hospital.
The driver of the BEST bus reportedly told authorities that the collision occurred after the vehicle's brakes allegedly failed. According to his account, this sudden mechanical failure caused him to lose complete control of the bus, leading to the pile-up.
