The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has announced a 15 per cent reduction in water supply across parts of South Mumbai, the western suburbs, and the eastern suburbs from Tuesday, July 28, to Wednesday, July 29, due to scheduled maintenance work at the Panjrapur pumping station.

According to an official statement issued by the civic administration, the maintenance operation will begin at 9 am on Tuesday, July 28, and is expected to continue until 5 am on Wednesday, July 29. The scheduled work will last for approximately 20 hours.

During this period, several areas across South Mumbai, the eastern suburbs, and the western suburbs may experience reduced water pressure and receive around 15 per cent less water than usual.
