Central Railway Takes Over 14 Navi Mumbai Stations From CIDCO

Central Railway has formally taken over the administration of 14 suburban railway stations in Navi Mumbai from CIDCO, effective Friday, August 14. The handover marks a significant change in the management of the city's suburban rail infrastructure.
With the completion of the takeover, all 14 stations have come under the direct administrative control of Central Railway.
The stations handed over to Central Railway include Vashi, Sanpada, Juinagar, Nerul, Seawoods-Darave-Karave, Belapur, Airoli, Rabale, Ghansoli, Kopar Khairane, Turbhe, Khandeshwar, Mansarovar, and Kharghar.
The transition shifts administrative responsibility from CIDCO directly to Central Railway, establishing unified operational and administrative oversight across all 14 suburban stations in Navi Mumbai.
