Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Aspirants Halt Protest Over Bombay High Court Clerk Exam

Job aspirants in Maharashtra's Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar have called off their agitation against technical glitches encountered during the Bombay High Court clerk recruitment typing test, granting authorities a one-week deadline to rectify the issues and schedule a re-examination.
The protest was initiated after candidates faced widespread disruptions during the computer-based typing assessment conducted for clerk positions. Aspirants reported severe technical difficulties at the examination facilities, including malfunctioning computers, faulty keyboards, and recurring server issues that disrupted their performance.
Faced with these setbacks, candidates gathered to voice their grievances and demand administrative intervention. The aspirants have requested that the recruitment authorities thoroughly investigate the infrastructure failures, resolve the hardware and server problems, and organize a fresh examination to ensure a fair selection process for all affected applicants.
The candidates agreed to suspend their active protest after setting a strict one-week timeline for the administration. They stated that the examination authorities must utilize this period to address the technical bottlenecks and issue an official announcement regarding the re-examination.
The demonstration also saw participation from political representatives. Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) convenor Abhijeet Dipke joined the protesting candidates on Sunday to back their demands. Dipke characterized the widespread technical breakdowns during the high court recruitment test as a "system failure" and called on officials to acknowledge the difficulties faced by the aspirants.
The job seekers have emphasized that infrastructural failures should not adversely impact the recruitment process, reiterating that prompt corrective measures and a re-test are essential to safeguard the interests of all candidates who appeared for the examination.
