Content Creator Apologises After Railway Authorities Issue Notice in Bandra

Content creator Mayank Jha has issued a public apology for filming disruptive videos inside Mumbai local trains, following an official notice and intervention by railway authorities at their office in Bandra.

In a video statement, Jha admitted that his actions were wrong and confirmed that he has permanently halted his video series inside local trains and railway stations. Over recent months, Jha had been creating content across several railway stations and onboard trains operating along the corridor between Virar and Churchgate. According to Jha, some of the videos involved carrying speakers inside train compartments and teasing fellow passengers.

Jha explained that he realised the seriousness of his actions after uploading a video shot from Bandra, which prompted railway authorities to issue him a notice. He was subsequently summoned to the RPA office in Bandra, where railway officials informed him that such activities inside local trains and station premises are strictly not permitted.

The content creator, who identified himself as a college student, warned that chasing views on social media through such actions could lead to severe repercussions, including legal action and long-term impacts on an individual's career. He expressed gratitude to the officials in Bandra for explaining the rules and guiding him on the legal consequences of his conduct.

“I would like to apologise to all the stations in Mumbai,” Jha stated, thanking the railway authorities for stepping in and educating him about railway regulations.

Jha also issued an appeal to other digital creators, urging them not to film inside railway premises or onboard local trains without prior authorization. He advised creators that if they choose to shoot videos, they should obtain the required permissions and focus on producing positive content that raises public awareness.

“From today, this series ends,” Jha said, confirming that he would no longer create videos inside Mumbai local trains and stating that the guidance he received would stay with him.
