Dhurandhar 2 Ends Theatrical Run At Rs 1149.02 Crore, Missing Rs 1150 Crore Milestone

The theatrical run of the Bollywood espionage epic 'Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge', starring lead actor Ranveer Singh, has officially concluded after drawing audiences to cinema halls across Andheri and the rest of India for 78 days. The film ended its historic run with a final domestic net collection of Rs 1149.02 crore. This final total fell just Rs 0.98 crore short of the major Rs 1150 crore milestone that the film's production and distribution team had aimed to cross.
On its final day, which marked Day 78 of its theatrical release, the movie added Rs 0.07 crore across 174 shows to wrap up its box office run. Despite narrowly missing the domestic milestone, the Aditya Dhar-directed blockbuster sequel has secured its place as the highest-grossing Hindi film in domestic box office history. It completed its run with an impressive worldwide gross of Rs 1,813.11 crore.
The conclusion of the film's theatrical journey comes as the 'Raw & Undekha' unrated cut of the movie made its digital debut. The special cut premiered on the JioHotstar streaming platform on June 4, 2026, shifting the audience's focus from local cinema screens to home viewing.
The film 'Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge' first released in theaters on March 19, 2026. It immediately set an unprecedented pace for Hindi cinema, recording a staggering Week 1 collection of Rs 674.17 crore. This marked the largest opening week ever recorded for a Hindi film in the domestic market.
The movie continued its record-breaking momentum into its second week. It collected Rs 263.65 crore in Week 2, which allowed it to surpass the original 'Dhurandhar' film's lifetime record of Rs 840 crore in just 14 days. The film then brought in an additional Rs 110.60 crore in its third week, continuing its dominant run before finally winding down on its 78th day of release.
