ECI launches intensive voter roll revision drive across Maharashtra

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has launched a Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls across Maharashtra to ensure voter lists are accurate and up to date ahead of future elections.

According to an official statement, the drive covers the verification of existing voters, registration of new voters, correction of voter details, and the removal of ineligible entries across the state.

The deadline for completing the enumeration process is August 8, 2026. Voters who complete the required process during this period will have their names included in the updated records.

Following the completion of the enumeration drive, the draft electoral roll is scheduled to be published on August 17, 2026.
