Maharashtra CET Cell Releases Third CAP Allotment List for Direct Second Year Pharmacy

MUMBAI — The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell on Wednesday announced the third allotment list for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for Direct Second Year Pharmacy admissions for the 2026-27 academic year.

A total of 1,448 candidates submitted their option forms and preferences during the third round of the admission process. Out of these applicants, 1,208 new students have been offered an opportunity for admission. Furthermore, 941 students secured seats in colleges corresponding to their first preference, resulting in an auto-freeze of their allotted seats.

Under the admission guidelines, candidates whose allotments have been auto-frozen must proceed with securing their admission at the allotted institutes. If any student whose seat has been auto-frozen chooses to decline the seat, they will forfeit their eligibility to participate in the upcoming fourth CAP round. Such candidates will only be permitted to take part directly in the subsequent institutional-level admission rounds.

Candidates who have been allotted seats in the third round are required to report to their designated colleges between August 27 and August 29, 2026. To confirm their admission, candidates must complete the document verification process by submitting all required certificates and paying the prescribed admission fees at the respective institutions.

Following the conclusion of reporting for the third round, the CET Cell is scheduled to publish the provisional list of vacant seats for the fourth CAP round on August 30, 2026.
