Mimoh Chakraborty to star in Vikram Bhatt horror film Haunted 3D Echoes Of The Past

Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt's upcoming horror film, Haunted 3D: Echoes Of The Past, has revealed its official plot details and cast, featuring actor Mimoh Chakraborty in the lead role. The film's narrative begins in Mumbai before shifting to a mysterious hill station, tracing a story of betrayal, supernatural encounters, and time-bending mystery.
The plot details, which were updated in June 2026, outline a story centered on Devadutt Choudhary, also known as Dev, played by Mimoh Chakraborty. Dev is a well-known filmmaker whose upcoming movie, Laila Majnu, is preparing for its theatrical release. Dev is deeply in love with the film's lead actress, Sonali, played by Aradhna.
However, just days before his movie's release, Dev's personal life falls apart when he catches Sonali with the male lead of the film. Heartbroken by the discovery, Dev decides to leave Mumbai immediately without notifying anyone. He is joined on his sudden departure by his cousin, Titu, played by Gaurav Bajpai.
The two travel extensively until they arrive at a quiet hill station called Maniktal, where Dev hopes to find peace. After deciding to rent a place to stay, a local broker shows them photos of the historic Maniktal Palace. Dev likes the property and agrees to become a tenant, but he and Titu quickly realize that the estate holds dark secrets.
Upon entering the palace, they find that the building is divided in a strange manner. All the windows and doors of the right wing are tightly shut, whereas those of the left wing are wide open. The palace caretaker, Trilok, played by Hemant Pandey, explains that the right wing has been locked up for several decades because the keys to that section have been lost.
The situation takes a supernatural turn on their very first night at the palace. Dev is awakened by a strange, eerie sound and discovers that the previously locked doors of the right wing are now wide open. Upon entering the forbidden wing, Dev witnesses an evil spirit harming a young woman named Sunheri, played by Chetna Pande. Dev is left confused by how the doors opened and how Sunheri is living in a section of the palace that has been sealed for over a century, eventually realizing she belongs to a different era.
