MPSC Verifies FDA Exam Leak Claims, Plans Police Complaint in Mumbai

The Maharashtra Public Service Commission on Monday announced that it is verifying claims regarding an alleged paper leak in the Food and Drug Administration recruitment examination for Drug Inspector (Group B) posts in Mumbai.

MPSC Secretary Mahendra Harpalkar stated that the commission has taken the allegations seriously and is thoroughly reviewing all evidence and statements received regarding the alleged compromise of the examination.

The official verification follows allegations made by Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) MLA Rohit Pawar, who claimed that the recruitment examination for the Group B posts had been compromised. Pawar demanded an investigation into the matter by the Central Bureau of Investigation.

Commission officials confirmed that a formal police complaint will be filed once the evidence and statements are verified, after which official police action will follow.
