One killed and one injured as motorcycle falls off railway bridge in Thane

A 22-year-old man was killed and another person was seriously injured on Thursday after their motorcycle skidded on the Mumbai-Agra highway in Thane district.

According to the police, the incident occurred when the motorcycle lost control, hit the railing of a railway bridge, and fell onto the tracks below.

Both of the individuals traveling on the motorcycle hailed from Rajur Babulwadi in Akola.

The 22-year-old man died on the spot due to the impact of the fall. The second rider sustained serious injuries in the accident and was rushed to a local hospital, where they are currently receiving medical treatment.

Local police officials confirmed the details of the crash. Further investigation into the circumstances that caused the motorcycle to skid on the highway is ongoing.
