PMC Begins Urgent Road Repairs Across Panvel Ahead of Ganeshotsav

The Panvel Municipal Corporation has launched urgent road repair works across several key locations, including Kalamboli, to prepare for an anticipated surge in traffic and pedestrian movement ahead of Ganeshotsav.
The civic body initiated the drive following directives issued by Panvel Mayor Nitin Patil and Municipal Commissioner Mangesh Chitle. Civic teams have been deployed to address damaged stretches that experience heavy commuter movement.
The repair operations involve filling potholes and carrying out concreting works along critical routes. Among the primary focus areas is Kalamboli, specifically on Road No. 1 along the stretch between Hanuman Temple and KLE College in Sector 3.
In addition to the Kalamboli stretch, the municipal corporation has taken up repair and maintenance work at Ganesh Ghat, Papadipada, and along Road No. 19.
The civic administration aims to improve road conditions across these vital corridors to ensure smoother transit for both vehicles and pedestrians during the upcoming festive period.
