Spectacled Cobra Rescued from Hospital Storeroom in Mahim

A juvenile spectacled cobra was safely rescued from a hospital storehouse in Mumbai's Mahim neighbourhood on Wednesday afternoon.

The reptile was spotted inside the hospital storeroom by an elderly woman while she was cleaning the premises. Following the discovery, officials were alerted to the situation to ensure the safety of those present on the site.

The Forest Department was informed about the snake's presence. Rescuers safely secured the cobra without incident.

According to officials, the juvenile snake was later released back into its natural habitat following the rescue operation.
